An adjuster typically reaches out within 1-2 days to arrange an inspection. The actual inspection may occur anywhere from a few days to 2 weeks after the initial contact. It's crucial to inform your New Life Contracting representative once you've scheduled the appointment or if there are any changes to the scheduled time.How long will the build take?
The duration of the project varies based on the roof's size and pitch. Generally, roof work is completed in 1-2 days. For siding projects, you can expect a timeframe of 3-5 days.What is a deductible?
A deductible is the amount you're responsible for paying towards your claim. This amount varies depending on your chosen policy. As per Minnesota statute 325E.66, the deductible must be paid to the contractor and cannot be waived, rebated, or absorbed.Do I need to get an estimate?
An estimate isn't required from your end. The insurance adjuster will provide a loss statement detailing the necessary repairs. We recommend reviewing this document with your New Life Contracting representative. If any items are missing, our team will notify your insurance company.What is a supplement?
A supplement is a request for additional funds that New Life Contracting may submit to your insurance company. This occurs when unforeseen factors arise during repairs, such as building code requirements, labor considerations, or the need for additional materials. We provide appropriate documentation to support these requests.Why is my mortgage company on the insurance check - what do I do?
Your mortgage company is included on the check because they have a financial stake in your property. To process the funds, contact your mortgage company's loss draft or property damage department promptly. They'll provide the necessary forms for releasing the funds.Do I need to obtain a permit?
New Life Contracting handles the permit process for you. We'll secure all required permits and manage their closure to ensure compliance with local regulations.What happens with left over materials?
To prevent project delays, we often order extra materials. Any unused materials after project completion will be collected by our supplier and returned to their inventory.How do I call if I have a problem?
